1. RoverLink vs QR Tag

QR Tag: A passive solution that relies on someone else scanning the tag when they find a lost dog (best scenerio).

RoverLink: An active GPS tracker that lets you track your pet in real-time without relying on others.

Main Issue with QR Tags → If no one finds the dog or scans the tag, it’s useless. RoverLink eliminates this dependency.

2. RoverLink vs Apple AirTag

AirTag: Uses Bluetooth + Apple’s Find My network, meaning it only works when within range of an Apple device (less than 200 feet). If no Apple Device (iPhone) are nearby, tracking fails.

RoverLink: Uses GSM (Mobile SIM Network) + GNSS (Satellite Navigation), providing nationwide tracking without needing nearby devices.

Main Issue with AirTag → Limited range & works best in places with lots of iPhone users. RoverLink, on the other hand, works anywhere there's mobile network coverage, making it far more reliable for tracking dogs in real-time.
